They also lost the tie-breaker for the league's 3rd automatic playoff bid. Although only 6 starters return (only 2 on offense), several players who were reserves did see an appreciable amount of playing time. QB Mitch Sands, RB J.D. Abbott, WR Max Hasse, and WR Noah Molnar will try to help the offense improve on the 15 points per game they scored last year. Ben Noe and Will Ham will see significant action on both lines. Along with NG Daniel Dichiro and LB Dutch Lamons, and newcomer LB Justin Tam, many of the offensive stars listed above will responsible for trying to keep opponents below 20 points per game, as the D did last year. Although this team will be athletic, the youth could prevent them from being as physically strong as some more experienced teams. Another factor for the Sea Kings is that they are welcoming a new Head Coach to the program, Jason Hitchens, which could mean a learning curve while new systems are implemented. |
