This year's team may be a touch better in overall quality as last year, but that's actually pretty good news considering the youth of this team. New QB Derek O'Hanlon will lead the offense with 5 returning starters, including Scott Hutcherson and Josiah Coyle on the O-line. The defense could improve a great deal with 8 returners, such as James Carr, Randy Vorick, and Jacob Volen at LB (Vorick should also see time at RB). The D-line will be anchored by Matt Jaramillo at NT and Nate Partridge at DE. Graham Lovelady, Christian Romero, and Christian Lewis should help form a tough secondary (Lovelady will also get carries on offense). While the top couple of teams will continue to be strong, the Raiders could make strides to join them this fall.
