This year's seniors had a 9-1 junior varsity success, so talent is expected to reign. Coach Bert Salinas introduced SST (Sports-Specific Training) facilities to enhance athlete conditioning. The Wolves have good team speed, quickness and veteran leadership. Joe Felix QB, Daniel Evans RB, Seth Young DL and Ryan Ginyard DB are among the top leaders. Felix, last year's top receiver, moves to the quarterback position. He brings some QB experience with him. Evans will assume the role dominated by Anthony Richmond last year. Young was 2007's second highest tackler; he produced the most sacks for the team. Coach Salinas has been working hard to train a young offensive line that is getting ready for live games. |
