Outstanding players include Avery Patterson RB/DB, Bryce Flowers RB/DB, Adias Lane DL, Buddy Lee Reid DB, Michael Adan WR, Hector Orozco OL/DE, Foloi Vae OL/DL and Emeka Williams LB Patterson is a nationally ranked DI recruit prospect gaining a number of interested college offers at the cornerback position. Lane is also gaining some interest as a prospective DI recruit. Williams was the Pirates' top tackler last year with 107 tackles/assists. The offensive line, runningback and wide receiver positions have some good talent and depth this season. The team was very young last year on offense but the maturity and experience will provide a much more solid group. The defensive secondary and linebacker corp appear to be solid as well. Pirate insiders believe they should be very competitive this season.
