The team's speed, athleticism and pre-season conditioning have improved to a new level. It is noteworthy that Chowchilla's 2006 JV record was 9-1 and last year's JV record was 9-0-1. The only weaknesses may be Chowchilla's lack of experience and the size of their line. Coach Henson commented, "We made it to the section semi-final game in 2007, and we expect to at least improve slightly due to our personnel, coaching, techniques, etc."
