Outlook: The Lobos return ten starters for coach Steve Davis after a 1-9 season last year. The return of RB R.J. Hardaway from knee surgery will be welcomed, especially with major questions at the QB position. The offensive line should be solid, and WRs Chris Duran and Gentry Capps are good options in the passing game. On defense, play in the secondary should be a key, with capable John Martell and Jacob Torres back. Though only a third of players from last year's roster are back, improvement is expected.
