Outlook: Cougars' coach Keith Sitton has fourteen starters returning for a team that went 2-8 last season. A lot of young guys gained valuable experience in 2007 and now QB Garret McCune and RB Johnny Guevara are primed for an improved year. Chris Vasquez is a solid WR. On defense Cason McCune and Chad Garner upfront, along with Cody Whitmire and Jay Hayes in the secondary are dependable. Some improvement is likely.
