Outlook: The Bearcats have 16 starters back (eight on both sides of the ball), including key offensive returners in QB Clayton Stoke and RB Pedro Calzada. Matt Nowlin and Austin Koonce should also see time at RB, which is especially nice because Calzada expends energy at LB on defense and Kicker/Punter on special teams--coach John Ward thinks he has great leadership. Key skill position talent is also back. Line play on both sides of the ball is a big question mark and must be resolved to have a great season. Winning the district and getting into the playoffs is a major team goal. With the right development and work ethic it could be achieved.
