Outlook: Only three starters are back and eighteen players are gone from last year's playoff team as coach Mike Finnell tries to mold a different group into a playoff caliber team. Sophomore Jesse Marquez is a standout player at fullback and linebacker while Juniors Wade Scnick and Jarrod Dreyer are key members of the line. Finnell worked as the defensive coordinator last year so he must learn a new role while putting in different schemes on both sides of the ball. It may take a bit of time to learn for the coaching staff and players, but improvement as the year goes along is expected.
