Outlook: Nine starters are back for Lions' coach Dale Bartel including RB Karl Hodge. Who will start at QB is a big question but Hodge will be joined on offense by WRs Kenny Taylor and Malcolm Trail. On defense Hunter Price leads the LBs while Carvin Thompson, Renell Thompson, Roman Thompson and Isaiah Washington lock down the secondary. Who will start at QB and if linemen step up to make a difference are major questions. Improvement is possible but new talented players must emerge.
