Outlook: Cougars' coach Kyle Maxfield returns two-thirds of his roster and 16 returning starters trying to improve last seasons 2-8 record. On offense the running game should be strong with Brandon Butler and Deandre Thompson both good options as ball carriers. Darrell Whitfield and Ben Guthrie will be good targets for whoever gets the nod at QB. On defense Austin Pomykal anchors the LBs with Robert Maddigan and Tyler Kleypas tough upfront. A new QB and defensive playmakers are needed for big time improvement.
