Outlook: Twelve starters are back for coach Mike McEachern who looks to improve on a 2-8 campaign last season and has the tools to do so. Of five returning offensive starters, Tyler Pate at RB and Jimmy Martin at QB are both Seniors and form the base of a pretty talented offense that features 6'2" 195lbs Tight End Michael Hamilton--a second team district selection last year who has good hands and is a really good blocker. Junior RB BJ Rice should spell Pate. He's only 5'6", but he's a shifty runner who can race for the big play. Desi Tchussen is a weapon too, though it's hard to say where he'll play on offense. He's an athlete capable of playing QB or on the perimeter. Dropping to 3A should give the Falcons a better chance to compete, and with a lot of returners, it should be a good year.
