Outlook: Coach Larry Thexton has eighteen starters back this season, including key players at important positions on the field. Andre Moorehead will play for Navy next year after working at RB and WR this season. Rett Miller is another very talented RB who amassed 1,800 yards and 22 TDs last season. A third RB, transfer David McCallop is skilled and should make for great depth in the backfield. In addition to returning talent, a new weight room and locker room are up, and the defense is switching to a 3-5-3 scheme. Without losing many starters and following a solid 6-5 year, more improvement is likely as the program appears to be going in the right direction.
