Outlook: The second-year in the system should be a lot better than the first for coach Ted Maple. QB Nathan Valle missed four games due to injury last year, but he still managed to throw for 1,000 yards and he is healthy entering the 2008 season. RB Austin Embry ran for nearly 750 yards in eight games last year and should be ready for a full season this year. Newcomers Tyler DelToro and Mario Camacho will also get carries; they should make for a dangerous ground attack. With 22 starters back, good speed and size, the Mavs will be a lot better and should move the ball with relative ease on offense.
