Outlook: Of 25 players on last year's varsity roster, 20 are back, and that's good news for coach Kent Torbert. The bad news is the Tornadoes failed to win last year. Daveonn Thomas will start at QB after gaining experience last season, while Alex Reyna gets the nod at RB. On the outside, Phillip Morales, Aaron Reeves and J.P. Gonzalez are good targets. The offensive line has some talent. The defense needs playmakers to emerge. With a lot of starters back, some improvement seems reasonable.
