Outlook: Cougar coach Nate Sanford says that expectations are high, and significant improvement is expected for a team that returns sixteen players including key skill position talent. Shane Knight is back at QB, and Stuart Trahan could pass the 2,000-yard rushing barrier in his first game this season. Kyle Serres is a real weapon kicking the ball; he doubles as a WR. Serres will almost certainly kick at the college level. Newcomer Kevin Robertson adds depth at wideout. The defensive strength will be the secondary with Corner Hunter Labrada and Safety Joe Cate. The offensive line is a veteran group, and the defensive has experience. All indications of improvement should be expected.
