"If we can find our running backs, our overall team should be stronger this season. Our non-district schedule, however, is much tougher than last year's and Carter coming into our district also makes it much tougher. We could actually have a better team, but a worse record than last year." That's a tough way to enter the year, knowing the team is likely to be better but results may not. If it's to be a good year, the offensive line should be above average and they must lead the way for whoever emerges at RB (maybe Nickholes Valentine) and provide time for QB Victor Garcia. The top returners from last year's team are among the core group of key players from last year's team. Gutierrez has done brilliant things so far, breaking a 31 game losing streak and posting a winning record last year--the first at Adamson since 1989. The team is not deep. They will need to get through hard times together and take advantage of opportunities when they are present.
