Outlook: The Vikings went 2-8 last season, and though the running game may be improved, there are a lot of roles that need to be filled as only eight starters are back. Arthur Smith and Charles Mouton have great upside running the ball, and Justin Davidson, Travis Porter and Ryan Viaclovsky will try to open up running lanes for them. A starting QB must be located, and options catching the ball are limited. The secondary looks like the strength of the defense, though there is hope at linebacker. Improving on a 2-8 season is not impossible, but it will be a challenge.
