The season will start at home on September 5 against Scotts Valley, CA and talent is obvious throughout the lineup from Freshman to Seniors. QB AJ Benavides is back after passing for more than 1,350 yards with 14 TD's last season, but his completion percentage must improve. Deon Hill will start at RB after carrying for 700 yards last season. The 6'0" Senior Tailback runs a 4.36 40-yard dash and appears ready for a big season. Stacy Pawelek is also likely to see carries and help out as a blocking back. Davis thinks John Gallegos is the best center in the District and he anchors a good line that should make things relatively easy for the skill position talent. The defense also has key players back, and depth will not be a problem for the Coyotes. In a competitive district, Alice should be right in the mix.
