Outlook: The Gophers have some key players back among eleven returning starters this year. After running the second team offense last year, Joe Mason will be the starter at QB this year. Adrian Pena will start at RB after playing a lot last year. Tight End Wesley Vonner is a big target and a solid blocker. Both lines have at least one standout returning. The secondary, led by Corner Ray Uribe, should be decent. There are some things to like about the Gophers.
