Outlook: Twelve starters are back, and skill position talent is pretty good, however new roles for many of those players has them shifting from back-ups to starters or switching positions into more prominent starting roles. T. J. Barnes will play QB most of the time, but he could see snaps at WR; Kyle Toumbs will fill one position in the backfield, most likely at fullback. Trenton Harris is a newcomer that should be a top target in the passing game. The offensive line is a bit thin and, though the JV team went just 3-7 last year, players off of that team are going to need to help the varsity. Michael Scott is in his first year as the coach of the Bulldogs and, though he thinks the team will be improved, it will take time to put in a new system, and patience will be needed.
