Outlook: The Grey Wolves have a solid nucleus to build on, with a veteran offensive front and Dion Demers back at RB. Demers rushed for more than 1,000 yards last season and will be a big help to taking pressure off of new QB Jamiell Showers. At WR, Maurice Porter is an excellent target for Showers. On defense, the secondary is a strength with Dion Everett and Zach Miller. Improving on an 8-2 year seems reasonable, and if Showers adjusts quickly, it could be a fun year.
