Outlook: Coach Carlos Lynn's Cougars have 12 starters back, after a 1-8 season last year that included a winless mark in district play. Mammoth offensive lineman Scott Hernandez will try to lead the way for RBs Michael Martin, La'Ryon Witherspoon and Robert Owoyele. At WR, Preston Dean hopes that new starting QB Todd Hensley can get him the ball. D.J. Griffin is a very good athlete that Lynn must find a way to get on the field and get touches. The defense will be led by a solid secondary, including Safety Justin Reeves and Corners Jevin Colbert and Jacoby Overstreet. Big time improvement is very possible.
