Outlook: It's hard to knock what coach Steve Taylor has done in three years with the Rangers. A 23-13 record is solid, but improving on a 6-5 mark from last year is a major goal. Only five starters are back, and of 34 lettermen last year, 13 return in 2008. After starting on a JV team that went 6-4 last year, Kaden Hatley will get the nod at starting QB on the varsity unit this season. All District Fullback Blake McColloch is back, as is Second Team District RB Kinsey Williams. Wingback Kelby Winn also returns in the wishbone offense. The 3-3 stack defense will be led by McColloch at LB and Heath Ralston at Safety. The defense will be quick, and the offensive line should be strong. There is not a lot of depth or experience on the roster, and though the Rangers may surprise a few teams, they will likely be way down.
