Outlook: Thirty-six letter winners are gone from a team that went 3-7 last season, but perhaps it is the 14 returners (which include nine starters) that are more important than the large number departing. Taylor McHargue is back at QB after passing for 1,646 yards and rushing for 910 yards, including almost six yards per carry. Also back is RB Calvin Thompson who carried for six yards per attempt last season and was named a 2nd team All District Selection. On defense, the entire secondary has varsity experience and is led by 1st team All District choice Tyler Patmon at Corner. Numbers might be small, but talent is taller than you might expect. A move in district adds yet another element to an intriguing squad.
