Outlook: Coach Danny Threadgill deals with a unique situation this season as Boerne High School is closing for one year and the football team is being combined with the Samuel V. Champion unit this season. With talent from two squads, Threadgill's team should be much improved. Chuck Thornally will lead the offense at QB, and Josh Wray is back as the top rushing threat. Intangibles and how quickly the teams blend into a cohesive unit will dictate how good the squad can be.
