Outlook: Coach Jim Phillips has found himself a good situation in his first year with the Lions, as 15 starters are back, including standouts at key skill positions. After passing for close to 1,500 yards and seven scores last season, QB Jeremy Fowler is back, as is the RB combo of Dakieston Williams and Cordney Gray, who combined for nearly 900 yards and eleven scores last season. Alton Dennis is a capable receiver, and the offense is a good unit overall. On defense, six starters are back with Bryan Bellotte and Tahri Cozine leading the secondary. Improving on a 3-7 record is possible, but playmakers on defense must emerge.
