That's where the experience ends for the 2008 Lobos. Only six starters are back and none of them are on the defensive side of the ball. A new QB and starting RB must be established, and while Joey Merlene and Kelvin White are both good candidates to carry the ball, who plays at QB is up in the air. Wide Receivers Christian White, Chase Melton (who have some experience), and newcomer Sean Breard should be solid options in the passing game for whoever takes over under center. Little Elm is going to take a step or two backwards; the question is how much and the answer may lie in how quickly the offense comes together. |
