Outlook: Year one in coach Mike Hedrick's system was a good one. The Lions went 8-3 last season including an unbeaten mark in district play. This year eleven starters are back including key skill position talent. Jake Russ returns to operate the offense at QB. Ross Bishop is back at RB and British Walker is once again ingrained at Fullback. On defense play in the secondary should be strong led by Landon Vickers, Walker and Russ. Ray Ford leads the LBs and Rodney Dooley anchors the line. Repeating last season won't be easy, but talent remains and another big year is likely.
