Outlook: The Spartans should be airing it out in 2008. All district QB Oscar Smallwood returns in back of a veteran and skilled offensive front. Delvyn Howard should again be Smallwood's top target after a big 2007 catching passes. At RB, Jordan Sophus should see lots of carries and again, a good o-line should mean an opportunity to find holes. Bettering a 2-8 record seems likely if defensive standouts emerge.
